I’m not into photos where you have to perform for the camera. I’m much more interested in the things that already happen between you: the way you look at each other, a small touch, or how naturally close you are.

They’re often not big, attention-grabbing moments. But they say so much about the way you are together. And that’s exactly what I want to capture for you.

ABOUT ME

I’m Irina.

I photograph couples. I’m not interested in perfect poses. I don’t believe in love performed for the camera. What moves me are the quiet things: the way two people fall silent beside each other, the way they look at one another, the way they touch, the way they simply are together.

I believe real love is rarely loud. It doesn’t need to prove anything. It lives in trust, tenderness, stillness — and in that feeling of being home.

That’s the kind of love I want to preserve in my photographs.

QUESTIONS THAT OFTEN COME UP

You don’t need to know how to pose.

We feel awkward in front of the camera. Is that a problem?

No. I’ll create a calm space and gently guide you through it. You don’t have to put on a show, hold a pose, or be anyone but yourselves.

There’s room for what’s already there between you to come through. I’ll give you only as much direction as you need — and leave space in between for glances, pauses, and all the little things that happen naturally.

What should we wear?

You don’t have to plan your outfits on your own. I prepare every shoot as a cohesive whole, creating a visual concept that fits you, the location, and the atmosphere.

We’ll look at what’s already in your wardrobe, what could be added intentionally, and whether there’s anything from my client wardrobe that might work. That way, we create a calm, cohesive look that still feels like you.

Where will the shoot take place?

I choose the location to suit you and the visual idea we create together. Most of my sessions take place outdoors — in quiet places around Ansbach, Nuremberg, and beyond, where you can be yourselves without distractions.

To me, nature is never just a backdrop. It takes the pressure away, gives you room to breathe, and often lets closeness unfold naturally.

My partner isn’t very comfortable being photographed. Can this still work?

Yes — especially then, a calm and unhurried approach matters. No one has to keep looking at the camera, perform anything, or be particularly outgoing. We’ll move at your pace.

Often, the strongest images happen when the focus isn’t on being photographed, but simply on being together.
